Oh, how fun.

Well, this is fun!
The findings of their report, due to be presented on Monday, were that anti-Jewish sentiment was “based on widespread prejudice, deeply-rooted cliches and also on plain ignorance of Jews and Judaism”.
Nice job, internet.
Walter Laqueur and George L. Mosse have histories covering antisemitism in Central Europe. They have pretty much covered how deep and entrenched racist and antisemitic views were in segments of the German population and culture. This shouldn’t be too surprising. These ideas have proliferated throughout the world in part due to the National Socialist propaganda imported into the Middle-East as the Germans tried to garner support among the Arabs to fight the British. It would be silly of course to assume all Germans are antisemetic.
